PASS BANQUET

The PASS Banquet is the following
Friday and you definitely don’t want to miss out! PASS members have
participated in numerous community services, on projects ranging from Room
Visits to Feed the Homeless to Special Olympics. We’ll like to honor all
the PASS members and conclude the year by having an end of the year PASS
Banquet. With yummy food, music, and fun, you’re sure to be dazzled!!
We shall be giving certificates to active members, and we will be also introducing the officers of next year.

TAPIOCA EXPRESS FUNDRAISER
Friday, May 29th, 1:00 pm – Midnight
If you pay a visit to Tapioca Express on May 29th from 1pm
to midnight and bring our fundraiser flyer, not only will you get 5% off your
purchase but PASS will also get 15% for our community donations.
Both the locations of Tapioca Express (UCSD and VONS shopping
center) will accept our flyer. Treat yourself with 5% off and help
PASS all at once!!

is looking for applicants this summer for a trip to none other than Nicaragua! Its focus is on establishing sustainable
healthcare in this country. If you are

by a nice warm fire, toasting marshmallows for your tasty smores, and snuggling
up with your friends at PASS's BONFIRE OF THE QUARTER!!! Come join us down
at La Jolla Shores and receive a social point as
well!! Carpooling will be available and any help with driving is appreciated.
STUDY CRAM!!!

Finals are coming up and I am giving everyone the
opportunity to earn social points for STUDYING!! That’s right, you read it
correctly, social points for studying! Come on down to UCSD campus and get your
studying on before those darn Finals. Enjoy a great morning of cramming
in those last few hours of reading inside the Biomedical library at
UCSD before the big tests. The great thing about this social is that
there will be other PASS members there that I bet are even in those same
horrible/dreadful classes that you are taking. This means that is not
only a social but a free group study session if needed. Feel free to come
and study for an hour, grab a bite to eat and head on back to some more
terrific studying!

Sit and make a new friend by visiting with an elderly member
of the classical residence in La Jolla. This
project provides the opportunity to spend time with and brighten the day of one
of our city's very own pearls of wisdom. Your day may even be brightened!

The Preuss
School, a nationally
recognized charter middle and high school located right here at UCSD, is
looking for tutors. It's a great and easy way to give back, meet some wonderful
and accomplished students and take a break from studying. We have classes
from 6th grade to 12th grade. Preuss is located on the east side of
campus, next to Scripps
Hospital. You can use the
East Parking Shuttle, which will drop you off across the street from Preuss. Weekday
tutoring is possible as well- contact Lisa Sugimori for more information
NOTE: Before any tutoring you MUST go to an orientation
with Eva Mejia, the volunteer coordinator at Preuss School.
There are NO orientations in the middle of the quarter that are not
listed. There are no more scheduled orientations for the academic year.
