UCSD PASS RELAY FOR LIFE

HEY GUYS: SAT APRIL 10 IS RELAY FOR
LIFE at UCSD!
This is super exciting because Relay for Life is an absolutely amazing amazing
event that is held right here on our campus every year. I have been affected by
cancer greatly, and i know almost all of you have as well. So come out and walk
for cancer, share stories about cancer, and support those who are
fighting/fought cancer. Here's a blurb from the website:
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives
everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of
people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back
against the disease. At Relay, teams of people camp out at a local high school,
park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path.
Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during
the event. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24
hours in length.
SO COME OUT AND JOIN THE UCSD PASS RELAY FOR LIFE TEAM.
We will have a tent there - and I want there to be PASS members representing
ALL NIGHT. I know I'm going to be there because I'm supporting the PASS team as
well as another team. It's really fun; we'll have tons of games and activities
going on and even if you just want come for an hour - please come. If you could
fundraise money that would be so great.

Become a Member: choose the option
Become a Member (My Team Captain Pays) HOWEVER, there will be some serious
consequences if you chose that option but have a no show at the event since
PASS will be paying for your donations. THANKS GUYS! SEE YOU SOON!
ADMIT DAY TABLING

Saturday, April 10th, 10:00am – 2:00pm
Come join your fellow P.A.S.S.
officers as we talk to new UCSD admits about our organization! We will be
tabling in Town Square. E-mail Kelly or Vicky if you're interested in
attending. Table location TBA.
ROOM VISITS
Coordinator: Lindsy Godair

Dates: April 10th, 17th,
May 1st
Sit and make a new friend by
visiting with an elderly member of the classical residence in La Jolla . This
project provides the opportunity to spend time with and brighten the day of one
of our city's very own pearls of wisdom. We will be responsible for providing
tea and cookies for the residents as well as taking them for walks in the park.
Every one can make a different, your day may even be brightened!
Rides will be provided or if you would like to drive yourself you will be
reimbursed. We will meet at Sungod. Email me if you are interested. This is a
great and relaxing event, be sure to check the website for the dates!
FLYERING

Sunday, April 11th, 5:00pm – 6:00pm
Flyering is a fun and easy way to
earn service points! Come help us post those neon flyers around campus and get
to know the officers in an informal setting!!
**Each flyering event is half a service point.
*To join a project, you must
email the event’s coordinator with a request to be added to the list of
attendees, or sign up with the coordinator at a general body meeting. If you
have them, please don’t forget to wear your PASS shirts
to projects and socials!
